PROMISES AND PRAYERS FOR OUR CHILDREN
A Ministry of Hope by Claiming God's Promises in Faith
to give God Honor and Glory
Christ, our "Master Gardener" is interceding with us.
Romans 8:26, 27 [The Holy Spirit intercedes making our prayers acceptable.]"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."Romans 8:34 [Christ is constantly interceding with the Father.]"Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."1 Timothy 2:1-4 [We are asked to pray intercessory prayers for others.]"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; ... Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."
Matthew 18:19, 20 [Prayer Warriors are taking these children to God in prayer.]"Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."James 5:16 [We are told to pray for one another.]"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."John 14:13, 14 [We can ask God to do what He has promised.]"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it ."II Peter 1:4 [We are given these promises to claim.]"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises... "
Hebrews 6:12, 13, 15 [With patience and faith we will see Him keep His promises.]"Who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise ."Romans 4:20-21 [Being strong in faith we thank God that He is going to save our children.]"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform."II Peter 3:9 [Knowing it is His will, we can claim promises in faith.]"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."I John 5:14-16 [The promises are for us also and we know it is His will!]"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us; And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for them that sin not unto death."
